Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Miau Subsi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sebastian Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sebastian Wolf is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sebastian Wolf!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Subsi tries to clinch but Wolf moves out of range.
Wolf misses with a two punch combination.

Wolf has closed the distance and engaged Subsi in a clinch.
Wolf misses with a hook from the clinch.
Wolf is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Subsi is defending well for now.
Wolf tries a knee to the head but Subsi blocks it.
Subsi is working for takedown but Wolf is calmly controlling the position for now.

Wolf is fighting off a takedown attempt but Subsi is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wolf to the mat. Wolf regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Subsi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wolf keeps working.

Wolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Subsi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Subsi stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Subsi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Subsi prevents Wolf from escaping the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Subsi controls the position.
Subsi misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Wolf is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Subsi has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Subsi could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Subsi can't get the takedown.

Subsi is trying to trip Wolf. He has hold of a leg but Wolf is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Subsi persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Subsi not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Subsi gets to his feet - Wolf follows without any prompting.
Subsi fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Subsi is taking a breather. Wolf says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Subsi is keen to just control but Wolf is a slippery customer.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Miau Subsi has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Wolf gets a clinch.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Subsi tries to work over Wolf's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Subsi has Wolf pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Wolf manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

Subsi changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wolf fights it off and pushes away nicely.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
