Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Mikael Lindel enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindel keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Ubereem tries a low kick but Lindel avoids it.
Lindel tries to clinch but Ubereem is having none of it.

Lindel fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ubereem, pushing him back against the cage.
Lindel is looking to take this one to the mat.
Lindel wants a takedown.
Ubereem misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ubereem gets through Lindel's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

It looks like Mikael Lindel has been cut.

Lindel is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ubereem is defending well.

Lindel throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Ubereem works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Lindel throwing shots but Ubereem is blocking nicely.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Lindel in particular looking to stall.
Ubereem tries to roll over but Lindel keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Lindel misses with a looping right.
Ubereem fakes the leg kick and cracks Lindel in the body.
No joy there for Ubereem, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ubereem scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Lindel shoots in for a takedown but Ubereem shows good takedown defense.
Ubereem connects with a leg kick. Lindel looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lindel fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ubereem avoids it really well and circles away.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Lindel gets tackled into the cage by Ubereem. Ubereem maintains the clinch.
Lindel goes for a takedown attempt but Ubereem pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ubereem leaves Lindel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Ubereem gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lindel has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ubereem after a bit of a struggle.
Lindel doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Lindel misses with some punches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Ubereem.
Ubereem lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Lindel.
