The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norris moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Norris lands a left and a right that send Palhares crashing to the mat, dazed. Norris thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
It looks like Rousimar Palhares has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Norris jabs Palhares to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Palhares with a poor takedown
and Norris counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Palhares misses with a takedown
and Norris counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Palhares to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Norris!
