PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Magni Turisas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Linus Kallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Turisas comes to the cage accompanied by Manowar - Gods Of War. Linus Kallio will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Turisas changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kallio tries to avoid it but Turisas manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kallio to the ground. Kallio escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kallio scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Turisas misses with a takedown attempt - Kallio sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Turisas shoots in looking for a takedown. Kallio tries to sprawl out of it but Turisas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kallio manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Magni Turisas. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Turisas moves out of range as Kallio throws a body kick.
Kallio looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Turisas has a takedown stuffed.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Turisas avoids the body shot from Kallio.
Kallio lands a jab to Turisas's midsection.
Kallio digs a good body shot into Turisas's ribs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Kallio lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Turisas can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Kallio and Turisas drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Kallio.
