Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mingan Napayshni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mark Harrison acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Mingan Napayshni!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Harrison!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Igor Prikhodko and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Napayshni takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Napayshni gets tackled into the ropes by Harrison. Harrison maintains the clinch.

Napayshni breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Napayshni avoids the body shot from Harrison.
Harrison feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Napayshni's calf.
Harrison misses the shot to the body.
Harrison scores with a hook to the body. Napayshni takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Harrison shoots in but no luck this time.
Napayshni throws a shot from downtown. Harrison moves away and avoids it.

Harrison drives through and clinches with Napayshni against the ropes.
Harrison misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Napayshni has had enough of the clinch but Harrison keeps him there for the moment.

Napayshni's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Napayshni tries to score with a low kick but Harrison moves his leg out of the way.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Harrison shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Harrison showed some decent athleticism there.

Harrison is controlling the pace.
Harrison tries to pass the half guard into mount. Napayshni knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Napayshni wants to improve his position but Harrison is controlling well.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Harrison is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Napayshni sees it coming and defends easily.

Harrison throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Harrison throws a big elbow that misses, also allowing Napayshni to regain full guard.
Harrison slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Harrison is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Napayshni's shoulder. That is not cool.

Sloppy strikes there by Harrison.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Napayshni tries to escape but Harrison is in control.
Napayshni holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage.
Harrison tries to advance to mount but Napayshni denies him.
Napayshni gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Napayshni wants to control but Harrison is having none of it.

Harrison wants to finish this one by submission but Napayshni is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Harrison.

Harrison swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Napayshni is now in Harrison's guard. A big mistake from Harrison there, giving up the dominant position!

Napayshni wants to control from the top but Harrison keeps moving.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Mingan Napayshni.
Harrison has his takedown stuffed
and Napayshni connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Napayshni misses the shot to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Harrison dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Harrison cracks Napayshni with a good jab.

Napayshni closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Harrison works over Napayshni's head and body with a nice combination.
Napayshni throws a looping overhand right but Harrison ducks down to avoid it.
Napayshni moves out of range as Harrison strikes.
Napayshni throws a push kick but Harrison slaps the foot to one side.
Napayshni misses the shot to the body.
Harrison misses with a body punch
and Napayshni counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Harrison thinking.
Harrison uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Napayshni.
Napayshni gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Harrison lands with a right hand.

Harrison misses the shot to the body.
Harrison blocks a head kick by Napayshni.
Harrison moves out of range of the strikes.
Napayshni circles away from the clinch attempt.
Napayshni moves out of range as Harrison strikes.
Napayshni misses with a body shot.
Harrison swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Napayshni.
Harrison swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Harrison tries to throw a body punch but Napayshni avoids it by throwing Harrison back against the ropes.

Napayshni's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Napayshni throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Napayshni steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harrison.
Napayshni throws a body punch but Harrison moves out of range.
Harrison blocks a head kick by Napayshni.
Napayshni is looking to wear down Harrison with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
A swing and a miss from Harrison.
Harrison lands a nice hook to Napayshni's body. Napayshni takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Harrison dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Harrison feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Harrison has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Napayshni wants to stand and escape but Harrison is having none of it.

Harrison seems to be working for a kimura but Napayshni defends the submission attempt.

Harrison is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Harrison is looking for a kimura but Napayshni is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Harrison to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mark Harrison showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Napayshni's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

A frustrated look appears on Napayshni's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Harrison pushes Napayshni back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Napayshni lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Harrison backwards.

Napayshni wants to break the clinch but can't.
Harrison is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Napayshni is keeping busy.
Harrison lands a hook to the side of the head.
Napayshni is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Napayshni has had enough of the clinch but Harrison keeps him there for the moment.
Harrison has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Napayshni is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Harrison is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Well Harrison has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
