Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pelmen Mochotin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antonio Palhares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mochotin comes to the cage accompanied by Hollywood Undead - California. Palhares comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Metallica - Enter Sandman kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Pelmen Mochotin could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Antonio Palhares's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Pelmen Mochotin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Antonio Palhares!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palhares tries for a takedown but Mochotin circles away easily
and Mochotin counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mochotin got a little sloppy there for a moment and Palhares has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mochotin has managed to get both his arms back between Palhares's legs - danger averted.
Mochotin postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Mochotin stays in close to Palhares's body and controls the position.
Palhares is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Mochotin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Palhares's guard.
Mochotin working Palhares over with strikes.
Mochotin working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Mochotin slips a nice elbow through Palhares's hands, connecting with Palhares's forehead.
Palhares is rocked!
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Mochotin connects with a nice short shot to Palhares's temple.
Palhares is still in real trouble! Can Mochotin finish him?
Palhares with the active half guard here but Mochotin passes nicely into side control.
The crowd goes nuts as Mochotin knocks Palhares out cold with a massive hammerfist! Mochotin Jumps to his feet and climbs on top of the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Pelmen Mochotin!
A determined Pelmen Mochotin didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
