Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Van Der Weed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rory Lyons (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Lyons looks to land a left hand but Weed moved out of range nicely.
Lyons wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Weed wants the takedown. Lyons is fighting it off but Weed persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Lyons's guard against the cage.

Lyons is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Weed doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Lyons.

A jab from Lyons finds it's way through Weed's defenses.
The fighters circling - Lyons throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Lyons forces Weed back against the cage and clinches.
Weed tries for a takedown but Lyons manages to get underhooks.

Lyons shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Weed defends it nicely.
Lyons does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lyons tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Weed was well out of range. Poor timing from Lyons.

Lyons throws a looping overhand right but Weed ducks down to avoid it.

A left and a right from Weed both land. Nice combination.

It looks like Rory Lyons has been cut.
A slow jab from Lyons misses its intended target.
Weed swats away the attempt to clinch by Lyons.
Lyons throws an overhand right that lands on Weed's shoulder, as Weed tries to avoid the shot.
Weed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lyons sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Weed somewhat.
