The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bonini works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Bonini looks to land a combination but Bludd avoids it well.
Bonini lands with a nice body punch.
Bonini displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bludd.
Bludd shoots for a double leg takedown but Bonini sprawls well. He's pushed Bludd's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bonini throws a combination. Bludd tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Bludd ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Bonini throws a right hand that Bludd ducks under and follows up with a left that Bludd also avoids with ease.

Bonini feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bludd sprawling to the canvas! Bludd rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Bonini finish him?!

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tomasz Bonini seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bonini throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Bludd crashing down! Bludd tries to stagger back to his feet but Bonini just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Bludd asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.
