The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bottom gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily

and Calderon moves into the clinch.
Calderon gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bottom.
Calderon lands with a short head shot on the inside.

Bottom tries to score a body lock takedown but Calderon shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Bottom is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Felipe Calderon.

Calderon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Calderon is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bottom defends it well.
Calderon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Calderon thows a huge punch but Bottom dodges it nicely.

Bottom tries to get to full guard but Calderon has control of the leg.

Calderon is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Bottom doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Calderon.

Bottom is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Calderon stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bottom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

and Calderon counters with a left right combination that sends Bottom crashing to the mat - Calderon wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Bottom out for a TKO! Devastating finish!
