The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Van Damme as Jackson shoots in.
Jackson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Van Damme scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.

Van Damme throws a hook but Jackson blocks it.
Jackson throws a chopping leg kick but Van Damme manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

A decent looking cross lands there for Van Damme.

Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Van Damme as he avoids it easily.
Jackson doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Jackson moves forwards but Van Damme connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Jackson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Van Damme throws a hook but Jackson avoids it easily.
Jackson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Leopoldo Van Damme is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Van Damme comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Noel Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson slips a straight right by Van Damme.
Van Damme throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Van Damme lands a big uppercut and Jackson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Jackson looks OK. Van Damme waves Jackson back to his feet!
Jackson is rocked!
It looks like Noel Jackson has been cut.
Jackson on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A shot to the liver by Van Damme. Beautiful body shot.
Jackson seems to have got his legs back now.

Van Damme throws a big shot that misses.
Jackson dives in and grabs Van Damme's left leg, looking for a takedown. Van Damme pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.
Van Damme cracks Jackson with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Van Damme has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Jackson to stand back up!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Van Damme flashes Jackson a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Jackson's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Jackson crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Van Damme punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Leopoldo Van Damme!
