Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Super Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Charles Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young has chosen Shut 'Em Down as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Charles Young!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Ren Mimura.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Man or perhaps it was just good defense by Young which made him look bad.
Young displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Man throws out the jab.
Man swings for the body but Young moves out of range.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Man lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Young has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Young and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Man cracks a nice hook into Young's ribs.
Man uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Young.
Young moves out of range as Man strikes.
Super Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Young walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Man lands with a thumping leg kick.

Man takes the fight into the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Man has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Young avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Man lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Young has picked Man up - he's going for a ride! Young dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Man lets loose with a powerful body kick. Young will feel that in the morning.
Charles Young is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Young throws a lazy right hand but Man sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Man throws a shot from downtown. Young moves away and avoids it.

Man throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Man swings for the body but Young moves out of range.

Man tries to land a front kick but Young steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Young throws an overhand right that lands on Man's shoulder, as Man tries to avoid the shot.
Man ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Man swings away with a leg kick that misses.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Young punishes Man's body with a nice straight punch.
Young misses with an uppercut
and Man counters with a right hand to the body.
Man scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Man dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Young. That did some damage!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Young is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Young circles away and we're back to standing.
Man throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Man tries a head kick but it misses.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Man throws a leg kick but Young moved away.

Man throws a head kick that misses.

Man shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Young napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Young is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Man has just dragged him back down to the mat.
Man wants to lay and pray for a moment but Young keeps working.
Young tries to improve position but can't.
Man in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.

Man is looking to take a break and control but Young is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Young wants to control but Man postures up.

Young tries to buck Man off but Man is having none of it.
Young wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Man remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Young takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
Super Man overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Man tries for a kimura but Young is defending well.
Man cracks Young with an elbow. That is naaassty.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Man is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Young has escaped the position, nice work there.
Young tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Man wants to control for a moment but Young uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Young has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Man is working away from the top position though.
Young is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Man is staying active.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Man lands a nice short elbow.
Man wants to pass to mount but Young is defending the position.

Man drops an elbow to the side of Young's head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Young wants to get back to his feet.

Man looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Young is fending him off so far but Man persists. Nope, Young circles away and we're back to standing.
Man throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Young stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Man tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Young manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Super Man is winning the standup battle so far.
Man works Young's body with a nice hook.

Man darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Young wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Man on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Man shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Young pinned against the cage. Young gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Charles Young has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
A looping hook to the body misses from Man. Young does a little dance to reset his feet.
Super Man is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Young uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Man.

Man uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Young.

Young throws a hook to the side of Man's head but Man sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Man swings for the body but Young moves out of range.
Man thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Young if he has to take too many more of those.
Man misses with a wild body shot.
Young swings and misses with a hook to the body.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Young avoids a kick to the body.
Some bone on bone action there as Young checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Young takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Super Man showed his dominance in that final round.
Well Man has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
