Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between George Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luis Bravo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, George Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Luis Bravo!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tanner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tanner postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Bravo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Tanner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Bravo on the ground.

George Tanner has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.
Bravo dodges the punch combination from Tanner.
Bravo throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bravo wants to clinch but Tanner slips to the side

and Tanner counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Bravo's guard now.
Tanner stays in close to Bravo's body and controls the position.
Bravo bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Tanner's guard.

Tanner is not content to let Bravo control the position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tanner tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Bravo can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tanner is looking to escape.

Tanner is desperately trying to improve his position but Bravo has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Tanner tries to improve his position but instead Bravo has taken his back!
Bravo is looking to control Tanner but Tanner is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Tanner looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Tanner rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.

Bravo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Bravo wants to control from the top but Tanner keeps moving.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Tanner shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Tanner is looking to work some ground and pound but Bravo has wrist control.

We're going to have a standup here because George Tanner wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Tanner drives through and clinches with Bravo against the cage.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Tanner looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Luis Bravo.

Bravo gets caught napping as Tanner dives in and scores a takedown. Bravo manages to retain guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bravo keeping moving, preventing Tanner from controlling successfully.

Tanner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bravo.
Bravo tries for a takedown but Tanner circles away easily

and Tanner counters with a shoot takedown. Bravo fights it but they end up in guard.

Tanner stands and steps away. Bravo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Bravo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tanner tries to avoid it but Bravo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tanner to the ground. Tanner escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
George Tanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Luis Bravo.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Bravo.

Tanner closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tanner lands in his opponent's guard.

Bravo gets caught flat footed, as Tanner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bravo wants to clinch.

Bravo shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tanner as he jumps to the side.

Tanner has Bravo pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Tanner pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bravo tumbling to the mat - Tanner dives into Bravo's guard.
Tanner stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bravo swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Tanner not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Tanner has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

Tanner is looking to take a break and control but Bravo is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Bravo misses with an elbow from the bottom.

Tanner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tanner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Bravo struggling a bit here.

George Tanner showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tanner, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
