Hermias is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Gang Starr - Code Of The Streets . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shiv throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
A slapping leg kick lands for Shiv.
Hermias shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Shiv defends it nicely.
Shiv tries to score with a low kick but Hermias moves his leg out of the way.
Shiv misses with an attempted mid kick.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Shiv.

Shiv cracks Hermias with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Hermias drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Hermias throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Shiv works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Hermias has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Shiv fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Hermias has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Shiv feints and then cracks Hermias's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Hermias down.
Shiv swats away the attempt to clinch by Hermias.
Hermias fails to land with a series of punches.

Hermias throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Shiv throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Hermias moves out of range as Shiv throws a body kick.
Hermias checks the leg kick nicely there.
Hermias on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Shiv stuffs the takedown.
Shiv lands with a kick to the ribs.
Shiv lands a nice hook to Hermias's body. Hermias takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Shiv cracks Hermias with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Hermias is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Shiv takes a swing at Hermias's ribcage but misses.
Shiv just misses with a punch to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Shiv walks into a left hand.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shiv enables Hermias to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shiv manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Shiv has his hands on Hermias's head, controlling the position.
Hermias is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hermias throws a strike but Shiv rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shiv wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Shiv throws a poor cross that misses

and Hermias counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hermias.
Shiv is trying to push Hermias away but Hermias has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Hermias is working for takedown but Shiv is calmly controlling the position for now.
Shiv's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Hermias wants to take the fight to the mat but Shiv manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Hermias goes for a takedown in the clinch but Shiv prevents it.
I Shiv has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andrea Hermias.
Shiv presses Hermias against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Shiv lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Hermias.

Shiv pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hermias is out of range and Shiv settles back down.

Shiv tries to hold on but Hermias pushes him away.

I Shiv dominated that second round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Shiv's corner calls for a 1-2. Shiv obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Hermias throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hermias misses with a straight left.
Hermias changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Shiv tries to avoid it but Hermias manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Shiv to the ground. Shiv escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shiv lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Shiv pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Hermias throws a hook to the side of Shiv's head but Shiv sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

A decent looking body kick lands there for Shiv.

Shiv scores with a shot to the body.
Shiv lands a head kick. Hermias smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Shiv connects with an inside leg kick.
I Shiv is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Shiv scores with a kick to the body.
Shiv throws a push kick but Hermias slaps the foot to one side.
Shiv is looking to slow Hermias down with leg kicks.
Hermias lands with an uppercut that bounces Shiv off the cage and back into range.
Shiv misses with a double jab.
Shiv throws a wild body kick that Hermias sees coming a mile off.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hermias rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Shiv moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Shiv buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Hermias shoots in but no luck this time.
Hermias takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Shiv has closed the distance and engaged Hermias in a clinch.
Hermias wants to break the clinch but can't.
Hermias has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shiv avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Hermias shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Shiv uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Hermias.
Shiv lands a right hook to the body.

I Shiv showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Shiv, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
