Ellis comes into the arena with her song blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Prang lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Ellis at a distance.
Ellis shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Ellis shoots and misses
and Prang counters with a nice body shot.
Budiman Prang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Prang steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Ellis.
A swing and a miss from Prang.
Prang lands a glancing blow to the side of Ellis's head.

It looks like Christina Ellis has been cut.
Ellis walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Prang throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Ellis misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Prang lands a nice hook to Ellis's body. Ellis takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ellis. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Oh Ellis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ellis.

Prang lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Prang digs a good body shot into Ellis's ribs.
Prang lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
BOOM! Prang lands a beautiful left hook that drops Ellis. Ellis tries to recover but Prang is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Ellis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
