PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aleksandr Progbeniak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roger Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lin comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Advance On v2 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Aleksandr Progbeniak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Roger Lin!
The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Edson Gomes and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Progbeniak swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Progbeniak tries for a takedown but Lin sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lin shoots in for a takedown but Progbeniak shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Progbeniak has gone for a leg lock! Lin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Progbeniak's guard.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lin might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Progbeniak kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Lin loads up with a big shot that hurts Progbeniak! He's pulled Lin in close but Lin has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Progbeniak survive? More strikes from Lin and Progbeniak is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
