Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Zanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Igor Zanta is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Igor Zanta!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Damien Edna and Winston Howard.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jones fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Zanta to the ground. Jones is now in Zanta's guard.
Jones prevents Zanta from getting back to his feet.

Zanta manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Zanta moves into the clinch.
Zanta lands an elbow inside that Jones shrugs off.

It looks like Terry Jones has been cut.
Zanta with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Jones wants to break the clinch but can't.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Zanta pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Zanta is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zanta gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Jones changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zanta fights it off and pushes away nicely.

and Zanta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Zanta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jones.
Jones could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Jones connects with a leg kick. Zanta looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Jones drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Jones is breathing heavily.
Zanta is trying to buck Jones off.

Zanta throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Zanta throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Jones moves into range and clinches up with Zanta.
Zanta gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Terry Jones's cut is getting worse.
Jones has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Zanta throws an elbow but it misses.
Jones takes an elbow to the temple.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Jones blocks the elbow strike.
Jones wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Zanta managing to block the knees to the body from Jones.
Jones tries to break free but Zanta pushes him back against the cage.
Zanta comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
Zanta lands an elbow that stopped Jones in his tracks for a moment.

Jones wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Zanta has him pressed against the cage.
