The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon tries to work over LaRusso's front leg with a kick but LaRusso checks it.
LaRusso blocks a head kick by Moon.
LaRusso throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Moon tries to land a front kick but LaRusso steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
LaRusso turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
LaRusso lands a big head kick that sends Moon tumbling to the mat! LaRusso takes a step backwards and waves Moon back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Moon is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Moon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

LaRusso wants to slow Moon down by chopping away at his legs.
Moon throws out a leg kick but LaRusso moves out of range and Moon only half commits.
Moon seems to have got his legs back now.

Moon is trying to maintain a safe position but LaRusso gets an underhook and turns Moon into the cage.

Moon throws the kick towards the body but LaRusso avoids it.
LaRusso is pawing at Moon, trying to feel the distance before throwing out a cross that crashes into Moon's nose. Moon is badly hurt! LaRusso pounces, throwing wild strikes as both fighters end up on the ground! Moon tries desperately to hold on but LaRusso is relentless in his assault! As Moon receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls LaRusso away and this one is in the books!
