Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Stuart Wray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Olaf Saurkraut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Saurkraut has chosen Poland National Anthem as his entrance music. Stuart Wray has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Olaf Saurkraut!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Saurkraut shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Wray but Wray pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Wray enables Saurkraut to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Wray manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Wray connects with a nice looking jab.
Saurkraut takes a swing at Wray's ribcage but misses.
Saurkraut avoids the head kick by Wray.

Saurkraut feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Saurkraut has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Saurkraut accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That was a close round but I would say that Stuart Wray will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
