Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Congo Ashantie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qing Nan Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ashantie's entrance music is Congo Ashanti. A fine choice. Lee is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by GOT DA BEEF????. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ashantie misses with a leg kick.

Lee throws out a leg kick but Ashantie moves out of range and Lee only half commits.
Lee swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Ashantie fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lee.
Ashantie misses with an uppercut. Lee saw that one coming.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lee lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Lee.
Ashantie has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Ashantie's head.

Lee pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ashantie is out of range and Lee settles back down.

and Lee counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

That was a close round but I would say that Congo Ashantie will probably get the nod.

Ashantie has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Lee connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ashantie. Ashantie circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Lee tries to move into range but Ashantie moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Lee's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Ashantie throws a lazy right hand but Lee sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Ashantie fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Lee has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Lee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Lee throws a jab when Ashantie was well out of range.
Ashantie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Ashantie sizes up Lee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Qing Nan Lee's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Lee throws a leg kick but Ashantie sees it coming and checks it nicely.
