Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Bowron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dic Cheddars (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dic Cheddars will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bowron takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Cheddars scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Cheddars tries a head kick but it misses.
Cheddars tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bowron sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Cheddars somewhat.
Cheddars lands a jab-cross combination.
Cheddars thows a body kick. Bowron tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Cheddars tries to close the distance and clinch but Bowron swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bowron thows a body shot but no joy.
Cheddars defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bowron.
Bowron shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Cheddars is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Cheddars tries a head kick but it misses.

Cheddars has Bowron pushed against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bowron tries to score a body lock takedown but Cheddars shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Cheddars lands a nice shot to the body.
Cheddars tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Bowron's elbow.
Cheddars misses with a knee to the head.
Cheddars holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Cheddars drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bowron pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bowron shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cheddars as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Bowron. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cheddars forces Bowron back against the cage and clinches.

Cheddars jumps guard.
Bowron slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Bowron throws a strike aimed at the side of Cheddars's head but Cheddars avoids it well.
Cheddars has one of Bowron's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Cheddars is looking for a sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Bowron is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Cheddars is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Cheddars is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Bowron is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Cheddars is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
