The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins shoots in for a takedown but Yamashita shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Jenkins looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
A slow jab from Yamashita misses its intended target.

Yamashita scores with a takedown into Jenkins's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Yamashita wants to pass the guard but Jenkins is keeping the position.
Yamashita postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Jenkins keeping moving, preventing Yamashita from controlling successfully.
Jenkins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Yamashita. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Yamashita stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jenkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Yamashita postures up in Jenkins's guard and throws a big left but Jenkins blocks it.

Jenkins is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Yamashita defends well.
Yamashita pushes down on Jenkins's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Yamashita is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Jenkins is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
