Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yuki Zaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hachiko Kuwashio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuwashio misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Zaki counters with a three punch combo that has Kuwashio backing up. Kuwashio nods at Zaki to acknowledge the strikes.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Kuwashio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Zaki avoids a lazy jab quite easily.

Zaki moves in looking to clinch but Kuwashio pushes him off.
Kuwashio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Zaki jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Zaki lands with a nice combination. Kuwashio backs away looking to recover.
Kuwashio lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Zaki circles away quickly and effectively.
Kuwashio cracks Zaki with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Kuwashio throws a right and a left that Zaki avoids nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Zaki takes the fight into the clinch.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
