Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ohshima Sato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marshall Regulus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Regulus is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Yuri Antonov - Ne Umirai Lyubov. Ohshima Sato has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marshall Regulus!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Taro Takaoka and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Regulus fails with a takedown attempt.
Sato connects with a single shot there.
Sato dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Sato scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Regulus has his takedown stuffed
and Sato counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Regulus dives in and grabs Sato's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sato pushes down on Regulus's head and hops out.
Ohshima Sato has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marshall Regulus.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Regulus.

Regulus shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sato as he avoids it easily.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sato bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Regulus's head backwards.
Sato tests Regulus's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sato lands with a nice combination. Regulus backs away looking to recover.
Sato throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Regulus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sato pinned against the cage. Sato gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Regulus shoots in but no luck this time.

Regulus shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Sato defends it nicely.

Sato throws a combination. Regulus tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Regulus shoots for a takedown but Sato saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sato connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sato catches Regulus with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Regulus is trying desperately to land a takedown but Sato is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Regulus.

Sato lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Sato lands with a hook. Regulus tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Regulus takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Regulus gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Sato.

Sato throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Regulus stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Regulus is trying hard to land a takedown here. Sato sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Sato throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Regulus on the side of the head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Regulus has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Sato finds it's way round the side to connect with Regulus's head.

I would just about give that final round to Marshall Regulus.
