The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Ren Mimura and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Random fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Nakai throws a low kick but it's checked well by The Random.
The Random scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The Random throws a head kick that misses.
Nakai fails with the takedown.
The Random thows a body kick. Nakai tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Nakai checks a leg kick nicely.
The Random misses with a head kick.
Nakai avoids the body shot from The Random.
The Random lands a nice shot that snaps Nakai's head back.
Nakai throws a leg kick
enabling The Random to counter with a crisp jab.
The Random connects with an inside leg kick.
Nakai shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Nakai showed some decent athleticism there.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
The Random won't allow Nakai to pass to mount.
Nakai seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but The Random does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The Random is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The Random is looking to escape.
Still in half guard, Nakai seems content to control.
The Random wants to get back to his feet.
Nakai maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! The Random could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Nakai has cracked it and The Random is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Nakai!

Yuki Nakai very nearly forgot to thank Hell's Balls Recovery (160) amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
