The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

DeYoung clinches up against the cage.
DeYoung misses with a knee to the head.
Evans wants to get back to striking at distance but DeYoung won't allow it.
Evans managing to block the knees to the body from DeYoung.

DeYoung pulls guard successfully.
DeYoung wants to stand but Evans is controlling the position.
DeYoung is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

DeYoung is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Evans is aware though and is defending well.

Evans is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but DeYoung has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Evans is looking to defend but DeYoung has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Evans! DeYoung pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Evans taps out and this one is all over!
