Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Christian Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnel Matandang Mongoloid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matandang Mongoloid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. 2 legit to quit- MC Hammer kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Johnel Matandang Mongoloid was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matandang Mongoloid tries to close the distance and clinch up but Vera swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Vera drives through and clinches with Matandang Mongoloid against the cage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vera has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Matandang Mongoloid has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Vera is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Matandang Mongoloid defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Matandang Mongoloid shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Matandang Mongoloid was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
The referee warns Vera that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
