The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rose goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Rex Parker has been cut.
Rose throws a nice looking combination but Parker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Rose swinging wildly here.
Parker lands with an overhand left.

Rose wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose moves away from the strike by Parker.
Rose connects with a good right hand that stumbles Parker. Parker circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Rose throws a hook but Parker blocks it.
Rose lands a nice shot to the body.
Rose fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Parker manages to avoid it.
Rose lands a front kick.
No joy there for Parker, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Rose ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Rose moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Parker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Rose checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Rose uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Parker.
Rose tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Parker was well out of range. Poor timing from Rose.
A combination from Parker does no damage.
Rose looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Rose throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Rex Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker looks for the body kick but Rose saw that one coming.
Parker misses with a low kick.
Rose lands a nice shot to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Parker scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Rose throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Parker getting the better of the striking in that exchange.

Parker takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Parker looks to land a left hand but Rose moved out of range nicely.

Parker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Parker won't allow Rose to sweep him here.
Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rose swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rose seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Rose on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rose tries to get out of the position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Parker throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Rose, as that shot connected.
Parker throws a right hand that misses
and Rose connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

That has opened up Rex Parker's cut even more.
Parker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rose.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Rose.
Parker uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rose.
Rose cracks Parker with a right hand to the side of the head.
Rose looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Rose lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Parker at a distance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rose throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Parker stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rose avoids the body shot from Parker.
Rose is looking to wear down Parker with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Parker shoots in for a takedown but Rose shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Rose thows a body shot but no joy.
Rose listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Parker feints a jab promting Rose to slip. Parker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rose slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Rose works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

The cut above Rex Parker's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Parker throws a looping overhand right but Rose ducks down to avoid it.
Rose lands a jab to the nose.
Rose fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Rose throws a body punch but Parker moves out of range.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Rose looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rose bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Parker's head backwards.
Parker misses with a wild body shot.
Parker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyler Rose dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rose's corner calls for a 1-2. Rose obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Good shot there by Parker.
Rose throws a leg kick but Parker moved away.
Rose moves in looking to clinch but Parker pushes him off.
Rose throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Rose jabs at Parker's body.
Rose throws a chopping leg kick but Parker manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Rose dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Parker throws a right and a left that Rose avoids nicely.
Parker takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Rex Parker's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rex Parker is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Parker closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Rex Parker's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
