PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tim Sin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Bellator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bellator has chosen A Lesson Never Learned as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tim Sin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Bellator!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sin throws a hook but Bellator blocks it.
Bellator throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sin uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Bellator.
Bellator misses with a hook. Sin ducked under it nicely.
Bellator throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
A telegraphed right hand from Bellator misses the target.
Bellator misses the shot to the body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Bellator darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Bellator looks to score with a jab to the body but Sin is just out of range.
Bellator looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.


It looks like Frank Bellator has been cut.
Bellator misses with a wild body shot.
Sin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sin misses with a looping right.
Sin slips under a jab from Bellator.
Sin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Frank Bellator seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bellator shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sin as he avoids it easily.
Bellator defending well as Sin loads up on a big left hand.
Sin ducks under a wild hook from Bellator.
Nice sprawl there from Sin as Bellator shoots in.
Sin throws the left hand but Bellator avoids the punch easily.
Bellator tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Sin was well out of range. Poor timing from Bellator.
Sin blocks a jab.
A telegraphed right hand from Sin misses the target.
Bellator darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Bellator keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sin.
Bellator lands the left hand.
Bellator ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sin moves away.
Tim Sin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bellator shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Bellator throwing strikes but missing.
Bellator trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bellator tries to free his leg and advance position but Sin is retaining full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bellator accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Sin keeping moving, preventing Bellator from controlling successfully.
Bellator throws a big right hand that misses.
Bellator postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Bellator is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Sin preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Bellator stands and throws Sin's legs to the side, diving into side control.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Sin is trying to control Bellator's posture but Bellator avoids it.
Bellator working the strikes but Sin uses the opportunity to regain half guard.
Bellator takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bellator is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Sin is just riding it out for now. Bellator eventually gives up the hold.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bellator is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Frank Bellator dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Frank Bellator's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Sin connects with a leg kick. Bellator looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Bellator shoots in looking for a takedown but Sin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bellator's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Bellator shoots in for a double leg but Sin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Bellator lands a nice hook to Sin's body. Sin takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bellator throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sin lands a jab.
Tim Sin is winning the standup battle so far.
Bellator throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sin's waist but Sin gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bellator off to one side.
Tim Sin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Bellator.
No luck for Bellator with that takedown attempt.
Sin swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Bellator swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Bellator wants to land a leg kick but Sin is out of range.
Bellator loads up on a big right hand but Sin slips the punch.
Bellator looks to land a combination but Sin avoids it well.
Sin changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bellator misses with a hook to the body
and Sin counters with a nice uppercut.
Bellator is breathing heavily.
Sin jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.


That has opened up Frank Bellator's cut even more.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bellator misses the shot to the body.
Sin misses with a double jab.
Sin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bellator.
A nice inside leg kick there by Sin. That's going to slow Bellator down.
Bellator misses with a looping left.
Sin uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bellator.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bellator swings widly with a right hand
and Sin counters with a straight right hand.
Bellator takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Sin stalks Bellator and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Bellator's face. Bellator staggers backwards, shaken.
Sin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bellator moves away.
Bellator throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sin lands the left hand.


The cut above Frank Bellator's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Sin tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bellator is able to avoid easily.
A slapping leg kick lands for Sin.
Bellator changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Bellator on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.


Frank Bellator's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Frank Bellator's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Tim Sin!
