Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jason Diamond (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keith RunningRabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Diamond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Keith RunningRabbit!
The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diamond looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
RunningRabbit gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Diamond.

RunningRabbit shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Diamond manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
RunningRabbit working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Diamond bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in RunningRabbit's guard.
RunningRabbit is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
RunningRabbit keeping full guard, as Diamond tries to pass.
Diamond wants to stand but RunningRabbit has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
RunningRabbit trying to keep a closed guard but Diamond is proving a slippery customer.
Diamond tries to stand but RunningRabbit is controlling from the bottom.

RunningRabbit looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
RunningRabbit keeping moving, preventing Diamond from controlling successfully.
Diamond pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. RunningRabbit is keeping the position for now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now RunningRabbit is on top in guard.

Diamond pulls RunningRabbit in to control the position.
RunningRabbit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
RunningRabbit stays in close to Diamond's body and controls the position.

Diamond is looking for a triangle but RunningRabbit pushes his legs off easily.
Diamond not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
RunningRabbit trying to control the position from guard on top but Diamond is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
RunningRabbit landing some decent shots from guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
RunningRabbit looking to sit in guard and control but Diamond gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

RunningRabbit is pulling down on Diamond's head to control his posture.
Diamond stands and throws RunningRabbit's legs to the side, diving into side control.
RunningRabbit is not content to let Diamond control the position.
RunningRabbit dodges the ground and pound from Diamond.

Diamond stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Diamond throws a leg kick that is checked
and RunningRabbit counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Diamond pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Diamond connects with a good right hand that stumbles RunningRabbit. RunningRabbit circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
RunningRabbit misses with a shot to the body
and Diamond counters with an inside leg kick.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Diamond throws out a loose jab but RunningRabbit uses good head movement to avoid it.
Diamond stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Diamond wants to land a leg kick but RunningRabbit is out of range.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Diamond, as that shot connected.
Diamond checks the leg kick.
Diamond keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
A chopping leg kick lands by Diamond.
Diamond tries to clinch there but RunningRabbit circles away.
RunningRabbit misses with a body shot.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

RunningRabbit shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
RunningRabbit scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Diamond?
The referee warns Diamond that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Jason Diamond will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


RunningRabbit digs a good body shot into Diamond's ribs.
Diamond throws an ugly left hook that misses
letting RunningRabbit counter with a right hand.
A chopping leg kick lands by Diamond.
Jason Diamond seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Diamond missing with a left hand there. RunningRabbit was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
RunningRabbit scores with a nice body kick.
A low kick from Diamond misses
and RunningRabbit counters with a stiff right hand.
Diamond moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Diamond throws a body punch but RunningRabbit moves out of range.
Diamond looks to throw the jab but RunningRabbit is out of range.
Nice shot lands for RunningRabbit.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
RunningRabbit fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Diamond looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Diamond scores with a three punch combo!
Diamond throws a hook to the side of RunningRabbit's head but RunningRabbit sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Diamond throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
RunningRabbit misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Diamond.

RunningRabbit shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. RunningRabbit showed some decent athleticism there.

RunningRabbit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Diamond is trying to get back to full guard.
Diamond keeps control of the position for the meantime.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. RunningRabbit connects with a nice short shot to Diamond's temple.

RunningRabbit looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
RunningRabbit lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
RunningRabbit is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.

The fighters are battling for position here. Diamond manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Diamond manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
RunningRabbit is trying desperately to improve position.

Diamond looking for a guillotine from mount but RunningRabbit is having none of it.
RunningRabbit sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Diamond controlling the action here.
Diamond uses his free foot to push down on RunningRabbit's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for RunningRabbit.
Diamond takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
RunningRabbit is squirming around, avoiding Diamond's attempts to control the action.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
RunningRabbit is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
RunningRabbit is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

A close second round but Keith RunningRabbit will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!


Diamond uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by RunningRabbit.
Diamond sizes up RunningRabbit with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Jason Diamond is winning the standup battle so far.
Diamond fakes high and swings low for a body shot but RunningRabbit manages to avoid it.
RunningRabbit looks to land a right hand but Diamond moved out of range.
Diamond looks to land a combination but RunningRabbit avoids it well.
RunningRabbit throws a shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Diamond.
Diamond fakes the leg kick and cracks RunningRabbit in the body.

Diamond moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
RunningRabbit moves out of range as Diamond strikes.
Diamond pushing out the jab but it's not landing.

Diamond connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
RunningRabbit waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Diamond.
RunningRabbit lands a nice looking body shot.
RunningRabbit throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Diamond throws a shot from downtown. RunningRabbit moves away and avoids it.

Diamond tries to sprawl but RunningRabbit drives through with a takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

RunningRabbit is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Diamond has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. RunningRabbit is working away from the top position though.
Diamond blocking the ground and pound attempt from RunningRabbit.

RunningRabbit is trying to control. Diamond wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
RunningRabbit prevents Diamond from improving his position.
Diamond slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Diamond preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Diamond is trying to control the position but RunningRabbit postures up.

RunningRabbit drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and RunningRabbit jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
RunningRabbit wants to control from the top but Diamond keeps moving.

Diamond manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. RunningRabbit manages to get himself to full guard.
RunningRabbit working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Diamond.
RunningRabbit is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Diamond is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Diamond stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. RunningRabbit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

RunningRabbit pulls Diamond in close to prevent any damage.
Diamond slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
RunningRabbit wants to sweep but no luck.
RunningRabbit manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Keith RunningRabbit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think RunningRabbit has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
