Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between nathan grogan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Risto Perkele (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Risto Perkele looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Marco Blurström and Tarja Halkonen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

grogan gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Perkele looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

grogan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

grogan has managed to clinch.
Perkele takes an elbow to the temple.
Perkele landing knees to the head.
grogan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Perkele goes for a takedown in the clinch but grogan prevents it.
grogan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Perkele.
Perkele trying to stall but grogan improves his position.
grogan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Perkele fights it off and pushes away nicely.

grogan moves into range and clinches up with Perkele.
grogan drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Perkele swings away with an uppercut that misses.

grogan breaks the clinch.

grogan forces Perkele back against the cage and clinches.

grogan manages to break the clinch.
grogan throws a head kick that misses.
grogan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

grogan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
grogan wants to pass to mount but Perkele is defending the position.
Perkele pushes grogan off looking to stand but grogan dives back in and keeps control.

grogan seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
grogan wants to free his trapped foot but Perkele is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Perkele has one foot on grogan's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Perkele falls off balance throwing a combination
and grogan counters with a one-two to the body.

It looks like Risto Perkele has been cut.

Perkele tries to keep at a distance but grogan has taken the fight into the clinch.
grogan blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Perkele tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
grogan stalling in the clinch but Perkele improves position.
Perkele lands with a light punch inside.

Perkele has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but grogan regains guard immediately.

Perkele decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on grogan, up you get!

Perkele wants to clinch but grogan slips to the side
and grogan counters with a lovely straight right hand!

grogan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
grogan trying to control but he's not successful this time.

grogan working for a guillotine from mount but Perkele is in no mood to give up.
grogan mounts Perkele! Really nice guard pass there!
Perkele is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
BOOM! grogan connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Perkele is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
grogan knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Perkele on the ground.

grogan get's back to his feet.

grogan pushes Perkele up against the cage in a clinch.
Perkele throws a punch but it's blocked by grogan.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Perkele goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
grogan tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for nathan grogan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
grogan lands a right hand.
Perkele drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

grogan pulls guard.
Perkele postures up.
Perkele won't allow grogan to sweep him here.
grogan is trying to control the position but Perkele postures up.

Perkele gets to his feet - grogan follows without any prompting.

grogan shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than grogan was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Perkele bucks up and throws grogan to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
grogan throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Perkele colapses and takes a barrage of punches from grogan as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Perkele is left battered and dazed whilst grogan and his camp cheer!
