Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Joseph Dumpleton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Owen Camas!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dumpleton looking to score a takedown here. Camas is defending well but Dumpleton drives through and ends up in Camas's guard.
Camas looking to control but Dumpleton passes into half guard.

Dumpleton seems to be working for a kimura but Camas defends the submission attempt.

Dumpleton is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Camas moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Dumpleton drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Camas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Dumpleton has Camas in his guard.

Dumpleton wants to lay and pray for a moment but Camas keeps working.

Dumpleton thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Dumpleton goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Camas rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Dumpleton's guard! Nice work there by Camas!

Dumpleton throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Camas escapes and throws Dumpleton's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Dumpleton takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Dumpleton is looking for a sweep.
Dumpleton is trying to control Camas's posture but Camas avoids it.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Camas wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dumpleton, who protects the arm well.
Dumpleton is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Camas's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Dumpleton is trying to control but can't.
Camas trying to control from half guard but Dumpleton is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Dumpleton fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Camas to the ground. Dumpleton is now in Camas's guard.
Dumpleton looking to sit in guard and control but Camas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Camas slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Dumpleton looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Camas got a little sloppy there for a moment and Dumpleton has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Camas has managed to get both his arms back between Dumpleton's legs - danger averted.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Camas makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Camas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dumpleton swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Camas wants to control from the top but Dumpleton keeps moving.

Dumpleton is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Dumpleton has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Camas should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Dumpleton has tightened it up now! Camas should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
