Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Butter Beer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Kolodin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alan Kolodin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Butter Beer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alan Kolodin!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Gregory Folan and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beer throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kolodin shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Beer defends it nicely.
Beer lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kolodin circles away quickly and effectively.
A punch combination from Beer misses.
Kolodin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Beer is fending him off so far but Kolodin persists. Nope, Beer circles away and we're back to standing.
Beer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Kolodin stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Beer will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kolodin has his takedown stuffed
and Beer counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Butter Beer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Kolodin.

Kolodin shoots in but no luck this time.
Beer lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kolodin at a distance.

Beer gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Kolodin to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Kolodin shoots in for a double leg but Beer sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Beer throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beer lands with a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Kolodin shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Beer sprawls well. Beer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kolodin gets slowly back to his feet.
Kolodin uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Beer.

Kolodin shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Beer connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Beer is looking to wear down Kolodin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.
Kolodin shoots in for a takedown but Beer shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Beer throws a head kick but Kolodin moves out of range.

Kolodin avoids a punch combination nicely.
Beer swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Kolodin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Beer's guard.
Kolodin is fighting to break Beer's control of his arms but Beer is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Kolodin passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Beer is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Beer manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Kolodin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Beer is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Kolodin has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Kolodin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Kolodin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Beer is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
You can see the frustration on Beer's face as Kolodin controls the position.
Kolodin is looking to take a break and control but Beer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Alan Kolodin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Beer stuffs the takedown attempt from Kolodin. Kolodin gets slowly back to his feet.

Beer scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Kolodin. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

I've got Kolodin winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
