Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Gracie!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koscheck shoots and misses
and Gracie counters with a nice double leg into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gracie tries to free his leg and advance position but Koscheck is retaining full guard.
Gracie stands and throws Koscheck's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Gracie is trying to get an arm triangle but Koscheck is defending well.
Gracie tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Koscheck tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Gracie wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Gracie wants to control the pace but Koscheck is squirming around nicely.
Gracie goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Koscheck turns into him and now he's in Gracie's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gracie trying to keep a closed guard but Koscheck is proving a slippery customer.
Koscheck passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Koscheck sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Gracie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Koscheck has an Americana. Gracie didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Koscheck is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Koscheck hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
