PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Karol Operhalski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Danny Bos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Danny Bos will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Karol Operhalski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Danny Bos!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bos has Operhalski up against the ropes in a clinch.
Operhalski keeps control of Bos as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Bos is trying to break the clinch but Operhalski has him pressed against the ropes.

Bos breaks the clinch.
Bos swinging wildly here.
Bos fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Operhalski has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Operhalski shoots in looking for a takedown but Bos manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Operhalski's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Bos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Operhalski tries for a takedown but Bos sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Operhalski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bos's guard.

Operhalski takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.

Bos closes the distance and pushes Operhalski back into the ropes.

It looks like Karol Operhalski has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Operhalski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bos tries to avoid it but Operhalski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bos to the ground. Bos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Bos throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Bos tightens his grip and picks Operhalski up, before dumping him to the ground. Operhalski manages to land in guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Bos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Operhalski circles away quickly and effectively.

Bos takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Operhalski moves into the clinch successfully.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Operhalski changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bos fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Danny Bos is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Operhalski shoots in looking for a takedown. Bos tries to sprawl out of it but Operhalski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Bos manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Bos has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
