The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Penni paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
De La Rosa shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Penni napping and manages to drive through into side control!
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
De La Rosa looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
De La Rosa prevents Penni from escaping the position.
De La Rosa has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A combination from De La Rosa does no damage.
De La Rosa scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Penni enables De La Rosa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Penni manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Penni preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
De La Rosa trying to control but Penni is working from the bottom.
De La Rosa throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Penni really doesn't want to stay on the ground with De La Rosa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Penni wants to stand up but De La Rosa is controlling him.
De La Rosa with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
De La Rosa scoring with some ground and pound.
De La Rosa drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says De La Rosa as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Penni screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with De La Rosa! Nice submission victory there!
