PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Keith Brimstoned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddi Fast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brimstoned kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Origin - The Burner. Eddi Fast has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Keith Brimstoned's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Keith Brimstoned!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Eddi Fast!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brimstoned moves away from the strike by Fast.
Fast cracks Brimstoned with an open hand slap.


It looks like Keith Brimstoned has been cut.
Brimstoned slips under a jab from Fast.
Fast moves away from the strike by Brimstoned.
Fast swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Fast throws a hook but Brimstoned blocks it.
Fast misses with a straight right.
Fast slips a straight right by Brimstoned.
Fast jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Fast throws a shot from downtown. Brimstoned moves away and avoids it.
Fast throws an overhand right that lands on Brimstoned's shoulder, as Brimstoned tries to avoid the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fast throws a right hand that misses
enabling Brimstoned to counter with a crisp jab.
Fast has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Brimstoned steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fast.
Fast thows a left - swing and a miss!

Fast scores with a sloppy right hand. Brimstoned should have avoided that one.
Fast misses with a lunging right hand
and Brimstoned counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

Fast walks into a straight right hand from Brimstoned.


It looks like Eddi Fast has been cut.
Brimstoned throws the left hand but Fast avoids the punch easily.
Fast slips a jab from Brimstoned.
Fast looks to throw the jab but Brimstoned is out of range.
Eddi Fast seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Brimstoned shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Fast manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brimstoned pushing down on Fast's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.

Fast is refusing to be controlled, as Brimstoned sits in half guard.
Brimstoned is pressing down on Fast's thigh, looking to free his foot. Fast is holding on for now.

Fast wants to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Brimstoned sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Brimstoned's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Brimstoned uses his free foot to push down on Fast's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Fast.
Brimstoned sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Fast tries to lock up and control but Brimstoned gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
A nice elbow there by Brimstoned.
Fast is trying to escape the mount.
Brimstoned tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Fast tries to hold on but Brimstoned postures up.
Brimstoned landing punches.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brimstoned putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Brimstoned prevents Fast from getting the reversal.
A nice elbow there by Brimstoned.
Brimstoned can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Fast is looking to escape.
Fast really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brimstoned. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Brimstoned controlling his opponent.
Brimstoned is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Fast can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Brimstoned looking to control and managing it successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Brimstoned moves away from the strike by Fast.
The fighters circling - Fast throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Brimstoned connects with a single shot there.
Fast misses with a lunging right hand
and Brimstoned counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Fast throws a big shot that misses.
Brimstoned avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Fast might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Fast throws a lazy uppercut
and Brimstoned counters with a low kick, right behind Fast 's knee.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Brimstoned throws a hook to the side of Fast's head but Fast sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fast gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Brimstoned.
Fast looks to land a right hand but Brimstoned moved out of range.
Brimstoned throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Brimstoned slips a straight right by Fast.
A telegraphed right hand from Brimstoned misses the target.
Brimstoned pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Fast is breathing heavily.
Fast rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Brimstoned counters with a low kick, right behind Fast 's knee.
Fast drops his hands momentarily. Brimstoned doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Fast staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Fast doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keith Brimstoned!
A relieved looking Keith Brimstoned thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
