Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Odayr Shurlt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor Coleman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shurlt's entrance music is Guns N' Roses - Welcome to the Jungle . A fine choice. Coleman has chosen Scary Monsters, Nice Sprites as his entrance music. Victor Coleman told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Paulo Santos and Leandro Rodrigues.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shurlt fails with a takedown attempt.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Coleman.
Coleman is looking to slow Shurlt down with leg kicks.
Shurlt looks to land a left hand but Coleman moved out of range nicely.
Coleman jabs Shurlt right on the nose. Shurlt blinks but takes it well.

It looks like Odayr Shurlt has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Coleman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Coleman wants it to stay on the feet.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Coleman is defended easily by Shurlt.
Horrible takedown by Shurlt or perhaps it was just good defense by Coleman which made him look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odayr Shurlt. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Shurlt shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Coleman pinned against the cage. Coleman gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Coleman is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Shurlt is controlling him.
Coleman is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
