The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nordemar ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Alli fails with a takedown attempt.
Alli tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nordemar paws at him with a jab and circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Alli.
Alli throws a body punch but Nordemar moves out of range.
Nordemar tries a head kick but it misses.
Nordemar throws a sloppy head kick
and Alli counters with a big head kick but Nordemar shrugs it off.
Alli tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Nordemar counters with a flying knee. Nice.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Nordemar tries to sprawl but Alli drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Alli drops an elbow to the side of Nordemar's head.
Nordemar on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Alli works his way into side control.

Alli has hold of Nordemar's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Nordemar seems comfortable defending it but Alli has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Nordemar is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Nordemar is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Alli couldn't care less - he's delighted!

A relieved looking Muhamad Alli thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
