PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fernado Tavares (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shizzle Wizzle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tavares comes into the arena with All Of The Lights blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Stewart Dunkirk and Cecil Peabody.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wizzle clinches up with Tavares and pushes him back against the cage.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Wizzle is trying to work for a kimura but Tavares is defending well.
Wizzle has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Wizzle wants to take a breather but Tavares is having none of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wizzle is nestled in close to Tavares, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Wizzle seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Tavares does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Tavares knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wizzle on the ground.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tavares is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
