Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Brandon Pierson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Sid Singh!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pierson drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Singh is trying to get back to half guard.
Singh struggling a bit here.
Singh is looking for a sweep.
Singh manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Singh is trying to get back to full guard.
Singh moves into full guard.
Singh wants to sweep but no luck.
Pierson trying to control the position from guard on top but Singh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Singh throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Pierson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Singh is in Pierson's guard.

Singh pushes down on Pierson's leg and manages to get into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Singh is looking for a kimura but Pierson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Singh to get the leverage.

Pierson got a little sloppy there for a moment and Singh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pierson has managed to get both his arms back between Singh's legs - danger averted.

Pierson takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brandon Pierson.
Well Singh has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
