Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Beam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bull Pango (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Beam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bull Pango!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Beam changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pango tries to avoid it but Beam manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pango to the ground. Pango escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Beam fails with a takedown attempt.
Pango throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pango lands a front kick.
Pango misses with a jab, cross combination.
Pango throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pango misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Nice takedown defense from Pango. No joy for Beam on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Beam. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Beam shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pango as he jumps to the side.
Beam misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Pango lands a head kick that stumbles Beam and the fighters go to the mat.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Pango controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Beam looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Pango sitting in guard, not really doing much.
I looks like Pango might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Pango pushes down on Beam's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Pango is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Despite being in the dominant position, Bull Pango just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Beam shoots for a takedown but Pango saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Pango thows a left - swing and a miss!
Beam looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Pango keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Pango lands a really nice looking cross but Beam seems unphased.

Beam drives through with a takedown into guard.
Beam wants to control from the top but Pango keeps moving.
Pango wants to sweep but no luck.
Beam stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pango swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Beam trying to control the position from guard on top but Pango is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Beam wants to pass the guard but Pango is keeping the position.
Pango wants to sweep here but Beam controlling him for the moment.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
An inside leg kick from Pango misses.
Pango stuffs the takedown attempt from Beam. Beam gets slowly back to his feet.
Beam fails with a takedown attempt.

Bull Pango dominated that round.
That's time! Beam's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Pango changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Beam looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pango remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Pango decides to stand up, so the ref orders Beam to his feet.
Beam shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

so Pango counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Pango postures up.

Beam is really struggling to control Pango but he's trying to hold on to the position.
Pango looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Let's hope that Pango has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Beam is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Beam trying to keep a closed guard but Pango is proving a slippery customer.
Beam bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pango's guard.
Pango looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Pango looking to hit a scissor sweep but Beam is one step ahead there.

Beam seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Pango seems keen to control Beam's posture.
Pango keeping moving, preventing Beam from controlling successfully.
Pango really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Beam. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Beam accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Beam is looking for a sweep. Pango is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Beam tries to roll over but Pango keeps him under control.

Beam is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pango pulls his head out easily.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Pango decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Pango looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Pango must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Beam is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beam can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Pango controls the pace.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Beam had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Pango is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Beam Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Pango's back instead.

Beam is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Pango won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Beam off his unconscious opponent!
