Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marvin Heemeyer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cuneyt Karakus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marvin Heemeyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cuneyt Karakus!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Bruno Hogan and Summer Carpenter.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Heemeyer looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Heemeyer postures up in Karakus's guard and throws a big left but Karakus blocks it.

Karakus looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Heemeyer connects with a nice short shot to Karakus's temple.

Karakus had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Heemeyer is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Karakus Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Heemeyer's back instead.
