Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Armstrong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donald Ducker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Armstrong has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tyler Armstrong!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Donald Ducker!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Ducker.
Armstrong ducks right into an uppercut from Ducker.
Armstrong closes the distance and clinches up with Ducker, looking for a takedown. Armstrong pushes Ducker against the cage but Ducker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ducker takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Armstrong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Armstrong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Ducker is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

Armstrong misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Armstrong throws a sloppy strike and Ducker uses the opportunity to reverse the position! A bit of a scramble here and Ducker has ended up in Armstrong's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ducker fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Armstrong looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Armstrong will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Armstrong throws an elbow that misses. Ducker uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Armstrong's guard. Nice move by Ducker!
Armstrong is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Armstrong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ducker gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ducker would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Armstrong drops his hands momentarily and Ducker takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Armstrong dives in and grabs Ducker's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ducker pushes down on Armstrong's head and hops out.

Ducker throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Ducker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Armstrong moves away.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Ducker. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Armstrong creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Ducker sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Armstrong misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Armstrong goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Ducker has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Armstrong but great work by Ducker.

Ducker takes a little break here. Armstrong wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Armstrong seems a little lost for a moment, as Ducker dominates the positioning.
