Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dexter Fabree!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ricky Lee!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Ian Loll and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee looks to land a left hand but Fabree moved out of range nicely.
Fabree throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.
Fabree tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Fabree somewhat.
Fabree slips a straight right by Lee.
Lee works Fabree's body with a nice hook.
Lee tries to clinch but Fabree is having none of it.
Fabree shoots in for a double leg but Lee sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lee defending well as Fabree loads up on a big left hand.
Fabree doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Fabree moves away.
Fabree stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Lee.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
Ricky Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lee takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lee throws a looping overhand right but Fabree ducks down to avoid it.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lee throws a body punch but Fabree moves out of range.
Lee throws an overhand right that lands on Fabree's shoulder, as Fabree tries to avoid the shot.
Nice sprawl there from Lee as Fabree shoots in.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dexter Fabree. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lee lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Fabree throws a combination that misses
and Lee counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Lee connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Fabree shoots in looking for a takedown but Lee manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Fabree's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Fabree is breathing heavily.
Fabree will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lee moves in looking to clinch but Fabree pushes him off.
Lee fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
It looks like Dexter Fabree has been cut.
Lee fails in his attempt to clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nice body kick from Lee.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Fabree. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Lee lands a jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Lee, right into the meat.
Lee jabs Fabree to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Lee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Fabree is keeping his hands low and just asking to be knocked out. Lee Raises his leg and lands a stunning axe kick! Fabree is out cold, face down on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Ricky Lee!
