Cruz gets the takedown into side control.
Recto is trying to control Cruz's posture but Cruz avoids it.
Recto is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Cruz's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cruz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Recto does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
