The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Miller gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Ishakima tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Miller's elbow.
Miller unloads a knee to the mid-section. Ishakima lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

Miller breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Miller looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Ishakima is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Miller.
Ishakima throws a series of punches but Miller avoids them all with ease.
Ishakima throws an off balance right hand

and Miller counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Miller takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Miller moves into full mount! Ishakima won't be happy about that!

Miller working for a submission but Ishakima is keeping him at bay.

Miller landing strikes, looking to finish!
Poor strikes thrown by Miller there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Miller thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Miller sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Miller lands a heavy elbow.

Miller looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Miller with shots to the head and body - Ishakima looks very uncomfortable down there.

Miller loads up with a big shot that hurts Ishakima! He's pulled Miller in close but Miller has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Ishakima survive? More strikes from Miller and Ishakima is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
