Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barry Honnam (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Vilain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vilain tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Honnam was well out of range. Poor timing from Vilain.
Vilain tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Vilain fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Honnam.
Vilain throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Honnam throws a solid leg kick but Vilain takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Honnam.

and Vilain counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Honnam lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Vilain has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Vilain and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Vilain walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Honnam drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Vilain swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Honnam's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
