Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, William Cruz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Zach Obleman!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cruz doesn't manage to clinch there - Obleman circles away.
Cruz looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Obleman is fending him off so far but Cruz persists. Nope, Obleman circles away and we're back to standing.
A head kick misses from Cruz.
Cruz has his takedown stuffed
and Cruz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like William Cruz has been cut.

Cruz closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Obleman scores with a shoulder strike.
Cruz is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Obleman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Obleman misses with the combination.
Obleman misses with a wild combination.
Cruz tries to close the distance and clinch but Obleman swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cruz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cruz drives through and clinches with Obleman against the cage.

Cruz is looking for a takedown.
Obleman will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Cruz up against the cage.
Obleman has had enough of the clinch but Cruz keeps him there for the moment.
Cruz is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Obleman to keep the fight standing.

Obleman breaks from the clinch.
Cruz dives in and grabs Obleman's left leg, looking for a takedown. Obleman pushes down on Cruz's head and hops out.
Cruz fails with an attempt to clinch.
Obleman leaves Cruz with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Obleman takes a kick to the side of the head.
Cruz avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cruz tries to clinch but Obleman moves away
and Obleman counters with a lovely straight right hand!

Cruz is rocked!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Obleman lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Cruz out cold! Cruz is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
