Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edgar Allan Poe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Santiago Da Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Poe comes to the cage accompanied by Heartbeats. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Poe tries to clinch there but Da Silva circles away.

Poe takes a swing at Da Silva's ribcage but misses.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Poe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Da Silva is one step ahead there.
Poe is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Da Silva wants to control from the top but Poe keeps moving.
Da Silva postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Da Silva slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Poe throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Da Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Poe closes the distance and pushes Da Silva back into the cage.
Poe is looking to break free of the clinch but Da Silva has double underhooks.

Da Silva has Poe pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Da Silva pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Poe tumbling to the mat - Da Silva dives into Poe's guard.
Poe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Da Silva manages to get himself to full guard.

Da Silva has his foot on Poe's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Poe works his way back into a safe position though.

Poe got a little sloppy there for a moment and Da Silva has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Poe has managed to get both his arms back between Da Silva's legs - danger averted.

Santiago Da Silva has got the better of the ground game so far.
Poe is desperately trying to improve his position but Da Silva has a good base and remains in mount.
Da Silva pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Da Silva has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Da Silva has isolated one of Poe's arms. Poe looking to fight him off but Da Silva twists into an armbar. It's tight... Will he tap?? YES, he's tapped! This one is all over!
