Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Zhang Wufie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haste The Day (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wufie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Beg Waves. Zhang Wufie has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Wufie.

The Day bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

The Day shoots in for a double leg but Wufie sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from The Day is defended easily by Wufie.
Zhang Wufie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Haste The Day.

The Day shoots in looking for a takedown. Wufie tries to sprawl out of it but The Day keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wufie manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

The Day shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Wufie's guard.

The Day got a little sloppy there for a moment and Wufie has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, The Day has managed to get both his arms back between Wufie's legs - danger averted.
